This evening, President-elect Donald Trump announced that he intends to nominate Sean Duffy to become Secretary of the U.S. Department of Transportation (DOT). Duffy is a former congressman who served Wisconsin’s 7th congressional district between 2011 and 2019 and is currently a Fox News co-host and contributor. Prior to 2011, Duffy served as district attorney of Ashland County, Wisconsin, between 2002 and 2010, but first gained fame in reality television in the late 1990s.
